The Society is Educational
Aldus provides a wide variety of programs and activities on book collecting, the history of printing, publishing, and book selling, book illustration, book design, book bindings, paper making, typography, calligraphy, and libraries.
Monthly lectures are held on the second Thursday of the month from September through November and from January through May. These meetings are free and open to the public. All are welcome.
The Society has Fellowship
While the Aldus Society hosts a wide variety of events, the Society does more together than book related activities. While it is our focus, the Aldus Society is a group of friends from all ages who go beyond our meetings.
Some things that we do beyond the standard activities of the society are field trips, dinners, get-togethers, and anything related to the growth of our members.
We hope you can join us!
